Starbucks should provide a job again to fired a Colorado employee, a decide dominated final week.
Federal administrative regulation decide Ira Sandron stated the espresso retailer “engaged in sure unfair labor practices” and should provide Alendra Harris her job again with full cost of any misplaced earnings.
Harris was fired Nov. 18 from her position as a shift supervisor on the Superior location, the first within the state to unionize. Sandron’s choice heads for adoption of the total labor board.
In an e-mail to The Colorado Solar, Starbucks stated it disagreed with the decide and that the firing was because of coverage violations.
“We firmly disagree with the executive regulation decide’s suggestions and intend to file exceptions — or an enchantment — on this matter,” a Starbucks spokesperson wrote. “It was not in retaliation for his or her participation in, or assist of, any concerted union actions.”
